Pause Team Point Announcement (2/17/12)!

You're been waiting with baited breath for a while now. Drum roll please!

 &

That's right, we had a tie! One team got the most friends points and the other got the most on-roster-in-attendance points! So the overall retreat extra point bonus was split between the teams. So where does this leave the standings? Well, Incendia and Peregrinus both picked up points as well in the team games and the drama activities. Here's where everyone stands:

You may be asking "How does this work?" The answer is simple, each week points are awarded for attendance and for "most visitors." Ferocia's been slaying these points each week consistently and are now in striking distance with Peregrinus! Teams get massive points for doing team servant events where at least half the roster participates. Teams can also get a fair amount of points for just getting together as a team outside of Fuse again, where at least half the roster participates. Why all the fuss? We'll be announcing the team party options soon but you can bet that it's going to be a blast!

Announcement regarding Holy Cross.

11/14/2011

The Fuse family is saddened to announce that the youth director position at Holy Cross, held by Jeff Kuester, was eliminated for budgetary reasons as of November 15th. We are looking at several options to retain his and his wife's tremendous presence in this ministry however given the short notice this will be difficult. In the immediate term, they will continue to bring their considerable talents to this ministry with gusto.

The Fuse staff has not been contacted in any way with regards to Holy Cross' disposition towards their Fuse partnership status. Without at least a point of contact and some further discussion we have no choice but to consider the partnership dissolved also as of November 15th.

Regardless, Fuse Student Ministries in whatever capacity has always been and will continue to be open to any student no matter their “home” church. We hope to continue to build the relationships we have with the students at Holy Cross and of course will welcome any new comers.

We simply ask for your prayer on the matter, especially for the Kuester family as they plan their next steps. Our primary focus remains with the students, particularly those students affected by this sudden change.

In Christ,

The Fuse Student Ministries Executive Team.

BAM! Major web re-work is happening!

If you haven't already noticed, we've done some reworking of the website. Spend some time, we've added a bunch of bells a whistles that should make life much easier including an online calendar you can subscribe to, a new mailing list to keep informed of the latest news, a new online store where you can purchase Fuse branded items while also supporting the ministry, and we're going to be moving to an online registration system for our events this year!
